Odissey have better gameplay but it's wolrd is very hard to believe that it's real. While origins is considered by many as a master piece about Egypt even by people from Egypt gov. Mostly everything Odyssey features is viable and real. Don't be mad about it and enjoy the game:smugjester: Or I dunno. Wait 'til Assassin's Creed BR comes out.
Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft. 3. Assassin’s Creed 2. Assassin’s Creed 2 is the “just right” porridge, a perfect balance between the proof-of-concept Assassin’s Creed and the hyper-refined Especially with the inconsistent writing in the modern day, and soo many things being left untold or unfinished. So much so that Valhalla had to redeem a lot of narrative things that Origins and Odyssey failed to explain and connect. But at the end, this is all meaningless. On an objective level Odyssey is the better game. The same cannot be said for the sequels to Assassin’s Creed: Origins, in which Valhalla and Odyssey see romance as options and side quests, a reward for playing the game. The romance options in
Origins. Its combat is much better than Odyssey. You really need to use your skills and consider the types of weapons that you are gonna use. Odyssey on the other hand, is basically farming gears, stacking up crit/dmg for your character, and one shot enemies.
Origins is the most mechanically sound, but Valhalla wins for me even despite all the buginess simply for the fact that it lets you assassinate enemies higher level then you with a QTE, making stealth a difficult but rewarding option for exploring high level areas early. 1. Origins will be the closest. Odyssey was built upon Origins core mechanics. Black Flag is one of the best games in the series but it retains the classic gameplay of Assassin's Creed. If you're looking for RPG Witcher 3 like AC it's Origins and Odyssey. In your case I'd say to play Origins next.
I found the gameplay/mechanics in Odyssey were slightly better than Origins, Origins is the better, tighter game (better story by far) in a lot of ways because Odyssey also struggles with some filler content, but honestly many of the side quests are genuinely fun or interesting. The writing team reeeeaalllly phoned it in with Valhalla.
7 Use Ikaros to scout and spot enemies. Your pet eagle in Odyssey is named Ikaros, and using him as a scout will be familiar to anyone who played Origins. Send Ikaros up and look through his eyes sqJaYkC.
