You just need to keep on winning battles. Get yourself a core of elite soldiers and fight against bigger armies so that you're getting 20-30 renown per battle and it starts to add up pretty quickly. I don't remember if Perisno has the option to set how many reinforcement waves there are for each battle, but if it does, you can sort of cheese it
You get a good relationship doing missions for the king, and figthing battles with im and other lords. The more they like you the better chance. In mount and blade one you could talk to the lords and suggest who shold recieve a new castle and you could effect them with speach ect.. maybe its the same in bannerlord. #2. As for how many hours you need, I have no idea. I have gone for speed runs in game time, but not for speed runs in real time. 50 hours is usually enough to get the upper hand, but cleanup can take a lot more. You can get a powerful characater (level 30+) is less than 10 hours, it's the diplomacy and relation building that take longer.
