The car was solid I guess but had a lot of little annoying issues you wouldn't expect in a Japanese car. Worse part was gas mileage - my road was 70mph limit (in Kansas so light traffic outside of the city) and flow was 75ish. Car barely managed 22-23 mpg at that speed. The 5 speed OBS v6 Chevy truck I had been driving did nearly that good.
Hi r/suzuki, We've got a 2009 SX4 1.6 VVT 4x4 and it's been a pretty good car but now approaching 100k miles and we've had some issues with the gearbox over the years. The gear stick became sloppy, difficult to get it to locate into different gears and eventually became inoperable, locked and unable to move/select any gear at around 50k miles.
