Struggle to select 5th/6th while driving! If you are getting excessive crankcase pressure it could be the pistons, piston rings or valve guide seals allowing pressure into the crankcase or the metal gasket between the intake manifold and the head. The gasket has reed valves in it that stop pressure getting into the system on boost but allow the vacuum when the throttle
The rear passenger side footwell is somewhat wet and now smelly. I can't identify where its coming from though, it seems to be predominant after driving in the wet (not consciously noticed it when its rained hard and the car has been idle) as the carpet looks like its been rained on. Its not at the sides but more in the centre of the carpet too.
Even the sportiest Focus, the ST, was a five-door hatchback. Ford did give the Focus a mild facelift in 2015, but the styling changes were restricted to the front and rear, with the doors not altering at all. Finding a second-hand door shouldn’t present too many problems the Focus sold in reasonable numbers and many ended up in recycling yards.
