Inmy opinion a watch should always be displaying the time without needing to be awaken. Without the AOD the watch will be just a black square on your wrist for the majority of the time. Ithink you would definitely benefit from the always on display of a used S5 or new S6. The raise to wake is very sensitive, as long as your wrist is facing up it should turn on. It works a good 97% of the time. But that 3% of the time it sometimes doesn’t turn on, or turns on and immediately off, etc. Personally wouldn’t even consider the
TheiPhone SE used to just give up - iPhone 11 turned out to be a better option for me. But yes, the Watch SE if great for 90% users - not a big fan of always ON display and ECG. Thanks for the info! Yeah I’ve heard the 11 and 12 have pretty great battery life compared to the SE, mind you I barely use my phone haha.
