The only way you are going to get support to change it or reset a password is with lots of personal information, meaning maybe someone you know, or they would need to know your game key. I had to do this once for one of my secondary new accounts that at random had two factor turned on, they ask for name, billing address, game key code etc etc
Hmm, not sure what the issue could be. Try using a slightly different password, like change one or two characters but keep it to something you can remember, or just write it down. I didnt have a problem making a side account on a free-to-play version using a second email, though it wouldn't let me use the same password for both.
Does anyone else's "Remember Password" feature not work on the GW2 Client? This is a very minor detail. Nothing in the game. But for the longest time now, even through re-installs of the game, when I start up GW2 and the client pops up, allowing me to put in my account name and account password, log-in, then start the game; the "Remember Password" box is ticked off but it never remembers my Thank you for contacting the Guild Wars 2 Support Team! The only way to temporary fix the issue is to delete the local.dat into my guild wars 2 folder and replace it with a my old version that i back-up two weeks ago. But once i log out, the next time i log-in the local.dat is overwritten and so the issue back. Tried a Password Reset. Reply reply /r/GuildWars2 is the primary community for Guild Wars 2 on Reddit.
